Installation

Installation is a straightforward bolt-in process requiring light to moderate mechanical skill and no drilling into your vehicle. Begin by folding the rear seats forward and removing the OE bin cover and factory tie-down hardware using a T40 Torx socket. Remove the carpeted side plates, then slide the cabinet into the cargo area and align the cross bars with the factory threaded tie-down holes in the floor. Insert the provided spacers and supplied bolts (with lock washers and flat washers) through the cross bars into the factory threaded holes. Fold the rear seats back up to confirm alignment before final torqueing. Reinstall the side-specific drawers by snapping them back into the cabinet on their respective roller tracks. No cutting, welding, or permanent modification to your Wrangler is required. Most owners complete the installation in under 2 hours with basic hand tools.
