After a thorough evaluation of the Wrangler JL platform, ICON set out to create a bumper that improved off-road utility by protecting critical components, improving approach angle, and providing ample room in the fender well area for suspension articulation and accessory function. In typical ICON fashion our engineers also developed a bumper that could easily be customized to suit different tastes or needs with the addition of optional Mid and Full-Width Wing Kits.

ICON IMPACT Series Off-Road Armor is built with a blend of trail-worthy ruggedness and lightweight performance in mind as the center section is constructed of high strength 3/16” plate steel while the interchangeable "wings" utilize 3/16” aluminum. The included skid plate is also constructed of 3/16” aluminum and provides exceptional protection for vulnerable OE components while keeping overall weight in mind. A 1-3/4” x .120” wall hoop provides plenty of space for mounting lights or accessories, while also being tough enough to take on the trail if need be.

Many of the industry’s most common accessories were considered when designing the ICON Impact Series JL/JT front bumper, which means that it features a standard 10” x 4.5” winch mounting plate to accept the most common aftermarket recovery systems. 1” thick steel shackle plates meet the demands of off-road adventure and are built to accept a standard ¾” shackle. The light pockets fit many of the industry's most popular popular 2”x2” cube lights or units of similar dimensions. The bumper is finished with a durable textured satin black powdercoat and includes all hardware necessary for install.
