The PowerStep mounts to your Wrangler's rocker panel and integrates with the vehicle's door-ajar circuit via an included OBD II plug-and-play module — no improvised wiring, unnecessary splices, or drilling required for most installations. Required tools include 10mm and 13mm sockets, 3/16" and 4mm hex key wrenches, wire crimpers, a drill with 3/16" bit, and silicone spray. All hardware and vehicle-specific instructions are included in the box. An optional AMP Research Override Switch (sold separately) is available for manual step control.
